As it’s a Plan made by local people, they have been involved in various ways:
- Having their say in any consultations on the Plan;
- Helping decide what should be in the plan by visiting drop-in exhibitions about the Plan;
- Keeping up-to-date via the dedicated web-site, posters, the press and radio;
- Talking about the Plan with friends and neighbours – spreading the word!
- Contributing their ideas and suggestions;
- Commenting on the draft plan before it went off for Examination;
- Volunteering practical help to create the Plan, from note-taking to photocopying, doing surveys, delivering leaflets, and supporting exhibitions.
